Tyga – First Time feat. Pharrell

Compton spitta Tyga introduces the music video for his hit track “First Time” off his Black Thoughts 2 project. Tyga could not create this ode to the ladies without the producing and crooning from N.E.R.D.’s frontman Pharrell Williams. Check out this beached-based video above. Enjoy!

Rihanna – Man Down

Here is one of the better tracks we’ve seen from Rihanna recently, exemplifying her unique style that separates her from the typical R&B songstress. Taking us back to her family roots, the Barbadian native offers an island-like flow in her vocals, which brings the song to a whole new level. The visual also tells an interesting story of violence. See it for yourself above!

Frank Ocean – Novacane (Video)

Frank Ocean introduces the music video for his radio hit “Novacane” off of his debut offering Nostalgia, Ultra. Directed by Nabil Elderkin, the video features some interesting imagery of tigers, pandas, and women. Also, the stellar visual performance is capped by hard and quite humorous slap in the face. Frank is in my opinion the most talented of the Odd Furture crew. So check it out!

Drake -– Dreams Money Can Buy (Prod. By Noah “40″ Shebib)

Evidently, we haven’t seen from Drizzy thus far in 2011 besides his role in DJ Khaled’s “I’m On One.” However, Drake seems to be delving into some album material as he drops what is believed to be the Take Care intro titled “Dreams Money Can Buy.” Drizzy Drake Rogers released the track along with the following statement:

“A song that I felt the need to share. Not my single. Just a piece of my story. Hear me out though…Take Care.”

So if you enjoy this audio fix than you will surely enjoy his single later on. Stay tuned!

Fonzworth Bentley –- C.O.L.O.U.R.S. (Mixtape)

After several years of waiting, Fonzworth Bentley releases his highly esteemed mixtape C.O.L.O.U.R.S.. First notice of the project came back in 2008 when the eccentric entertainer  dropped the single “Everybody,” which in its music video featured the “Cool Outrageous Lovers Of Unique Raw Style.” Since then the name has been shortened to an acronym and Mr. Bentley has hosted MTV’s “From G’s To Gents.” Accordingly, here is his official return to the mic accompanied by artists including Kanye West, Andre 300, Lil Wayne, UGK, and Faith Evans. Download the tape here. Enjoy!

Aloe Blacc –- I Need a Dollar (Video)

Aloe Blacc unveils a visual reinterpretation of his smash hit single “I Need a Dollar” from his new album Good Things. Much like the previous music video, this clip is themed by a notable amount of darkness and suffering detailing the lyrics of the track. Only difference this time is that Mr. Blacc got a little more dressed up due to his advertising gig for the major street clothing brand LRG. Watch the new video above and the old video after the break. Enjoy. Continue reading
